BORDERLANDS premiers at PBS this Friday!!!

As the seasons change (while  coronavirus remains part of our daily lives) we are thrilled to announce that Rava Films has partnered yet again with Art21 to bring you another dose of art, culture and commentary! Our full hour episode (!) will air on PBS on October 2nd at 10PM ET as the finale of the landmark 10th season of “Art in the Twenty-First Century.”

Titled BORDERLANDS, we explore devastation and determination at the U.S.-Mexico border, through the lens of four groundbreaking contemporary artists – Richard Misrach, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Tanya Aguiñiga, and Postcommodity. Though we are not sure what this fall will bring (particularly in regards to the November election), we are proud to have met with these artists to reflect on what continues to happen at the border and the necessity and role of art to reflect on these important issues.
