"Art in Embassies: Swaziland" for US Department of State
At RAVA we were honored to have been chosen by the US Department of State to produce this film about some of the art and artists represented in the collection of the new US Embassy in the Kingdom of Swaziland. Art in Embassies Art has played a leading role in U.S. public diplomacy by fostering a vital cross-cultural dialogue and understanding through the visual arts and dynamic artist exchange. First launched in 1963, the program engages over 20,000 participants globally, including artists, museums, galleries, universities, and private collectors, and encompasses over 200 venues in 189 countries.
It was a unparalleled experience for us to travel to Mbabane to shoot this video about art and diplomacy, giving us the opportunity to meet some amazing folks on the way!
