In celebration of the centennial of American artist Ellsworth Kelly, Glenstone museum is presenting an ambitious career-spanning exhibition ‘Ellsworth Kelly at 100’ exploring his vast contributions to abstraction. In a series of three films, we remember Kelly’s legacy and joyful nature. 

Behind the Scenes: The Making of Yellow Curve

A poetic tribute to the late Ellsworth Kelly’s ‘Yellow Curve’, first conceived in 1990 and re-fabricated at Glenstone per his exact specifications in 2023, bringing a ray of golden sunshine to the museum gallery.

Ellsworth Kelly at 100: In His Own Words

Ellsworth Kelly reminisces (in an interview with the documentary eminence Roger Sherman) on being inspired by nature from a young age and his attraction to shape, ‘flatness’ and abstraction in color.
